Step 2 of Brain Education: Brain Versatilizing

Brain Versatilizing is about enhancing the brain’s ability to adapt to changes and new ideas. This process keeps the brain young, fresh, and flexible to prevent premature degeneration. Ilchi Lee, the creator of Brain Education, coined a new word to describe this process—”versatilizing.”

The blocks between you and your ideal life are probably much the same as they are for others—rigidity, fear, insecurity, imbalance and judgment, which are the opposite of flexibility. When you successfully let go of fixed ideas and thoughts, you can reap the benefits of calmness, security, courage, strength, and balance to become more receptive to the opportunities life brings. For example, seeing a negative experience you had from a positive perspective or accepting an idea that you completely disagree with from someone whom you dislike.

Brain Versatilizing uses neuroplasticity to break the brain free from old habits, behaviors, and thoughts.

Versatilizing relies on the brain ability known to neuroscience as “neuroplasticity.” Many people believe that once we pass our early years, our brain capabilities become fixed and brain cells die off—never to be replaced. However, an explosion in brain science has revealed that the nerve cells of your brain and nervous system are proficient at rewiring themselves for a lifetime.

What can’t you achieve with your wonderfully changeable brain? The goal of versatilizing your brain is to increase the flexibility of your thinking and enhance your ability to use your malleable brain to make positive changes in your behavior the way you want.
